Surprise! Serena Williams is officially off the market.
The tennis star took to social media today to reveal her engagement to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and the announcement she shared completely melted our heart. The 35-year-old fittingly broke the news in a poem and adorable graphic that she shared on her official Reddit account.
“I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome. To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’ Back to where our stars first collided,” Williams wrote. “And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance. But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.”
Ohanian posted a comment on her note that read: “And you made me the happiest man on the planet.” The 33-year-old also shared the message on his Facebook account and wrote: “She said yes.”

The pair have kept their relationship incredibly quiet, but they did show off their silly sides in a cute Instagram photo that Williams shared back at Halloween (above). She reportedly began dating Ohanian last year.
