Navi Mumbai Commissioner has rejected parole application of 1993 Mumbai blasts case convict Abu Salem. Salem had sought the parole for nikah with 27-year-old Mumbra woman. He had applied for 45 days parole.

Abu Salem had appealed to the prision department of Taloja cell for his wedding with Kausar Bahar.

According to reports, Salem has fixed May 5 as the auspicious day for the nikah.

Salem had earlier claimed that he had married her “over the phone” during a train journey while travelling with a police escort for a court hearing.
