Today, Bella Hadid officially did the impossible. The model made an oversize Canadian tuxedo appear actually sexy. Hadid, in retro-style light wash flares and a distressed, thigh-grazing denim jacket from up-and-coming Polish label Misbhv, fully brought the smolder, and all thanks to a cropped black tank top that revealed her signature peek of midriff.

The loose-fitting look is certainly a departure from what the model has been wearing recently. Just a few days after splitting from The Weeknd, Hadid’s post-breakup ensemble was the sultry combination of lace-up skinny jeans and a sheer, bra-revealing bodysuit. And as Hadid has been gearing up for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, she’s been making Spandex and sports bras her uniform du jour. But this oversize, denim-on-denim look is also a welcome change: The boyish cut of the jacket and the wide-leg fit of the jeans adds a balance to the model’s typically body-hugging wardrobe, while the teeny tank allows her to maintain that classic bad-girl off-duty aesthetic that first put her on the street style map.
