Joan Juliet Buck Makes Her Designer Debut

Former French Vogue Editor Joan Juliet Buck has partnered with online auction house Paddle8 to sell the items she once deemed her uniform: a Cartier classic gold Panthère watch and her string of imposing grey pearls, among other prize possessions.

“The expression of who I was came through the little curiosities and clothes that I bought,” the writer and actress says of the forty-seven personal items she’s putting up for sale as she moves upstate and out of her Hell’s Kitchen apartment. The tastemaker’s collection hails from all corners of the world, including her former homes of France, England, and Ireland.

Her Paddle8 loot includes opalescent lamps, Kenneth Jay Lane statement earrings, classic Chanel, Hermes, Gucci, and art by friends like Karl Lagerfeld and Roy Lichtenstein. View the full selection, available through February 8, on Paddle8’s website
