If your iPhone 6s is suffering from spontaneous shutdowns, you might be owed a free battery replacement. 

Apple has committed to fix an issue it says affects a “very small number of devices”, which were manufactured between September and October 2015.

The firm hasn’t revealed the serial number range affected, so customers will need to check eligibility in store or with an official provider. 

It advises customers back up their data, erase data and settings, and turn off Find my iPhone before heading into store.
