New Delhi:  After the NCP, it’s now the turn of Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee to hit out at the Congress party – the alliance partner at the Centre and in West Bengal.

Mamata today categorically stated that the alliance at the Centre will continue only till her party gets respect.

“Our alliance in Delhi (with UPA) is there and will be there till we get respect,” Mamata said.

She however added that Trinamool will now go it alone in West Bengal.

The TMC chief made the remarks at a grand rally in Central Kolkata on Saturday to mark the killing of 13 Youth Congress activists in 1993.

The annual Martyrs’ day gathering was attended by lakhs of Trinamool supporters at Esplanade in Central Kolkata.
